SFM Europe brand renewal

Leading finance group, Structured Finance Management has recently taken part in several brand workshops to help define their brand, as part of a branding renewal project. Over fifty employees took part in two sessions, led by Milestone Director Ian Sutton, in London and at the company’s conference in Frankfurt. One of the highlights was our Chocolate Challenge – the brand positioning technique with the big cocoa hit.

The outputs from the workshops have informed the development of a new identity, website and marketing toolkit yet to be unveiled.

“Developing and agreeing a clear brand strategy was never going to be easy. Milestone’s workshops have really helped us focus our direction and establish a set of values for the business. The use of chocolate was an added bonus and surprisingly effective.”

Excellence in Marketing Award win

Our Northern Ireland based client, Denman, attended the annual Bangor Business Awards last month – a high profile event attended by various Lord Mayors, politicians, business heavyweights and local celebrities. Having entered two categories: ‘Best Family Business’ and ‘Excellence in Marketing’ they were delighted to win both.

Jonathan King, Marketing Manager at Denman said “The ‘Excellence in Marketing’ award was particularly satisfying as we based our entry on the challenges we faced in refreshing the 70 year-old iconic Denman brand. This obviously impressed the judges and equally obviously reflects on the work that Milestone did in overhauling all aspects of the Denman brand image.”

Focus this year is on the rising cost of motoring and the different views of urban and rural drivers. The Report delivers significant PR value as well as establishing RAC as the voice of the British motorist.
